Container Transport Planner

Job description

As a container transport planner, you are responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of container transports to and from ports, terminals, and customers. You act as the central link between drivers, customers, shipping lines, and terminals, ensuring that everything runs according to schedule and agreements.

What do we expect from you?

• Creating and optimizing daily transport schedules
• Maintaining contact with customers, terminals, and internal departments
• Monitoring transport operations and making timely adjustments when deviations occur
• Administrative processing of transport orders
• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for improvements

What do you bring to the table?

• Experience as a transport planner, preferably in container transport
• Knowledge of port operations and container logistics is an advantage
• Able to work under pressure, solution-oriented, and strong communication skills
• Good command of Dutch and English (German is an advantage)
• Experience with planning systems and MS Office
